A protocol is the list of movements for the subject to perform during one capture session. Once a session is completed using a protocol, certain reports are outputted based on the protocol used. There are 2 types of protocols, fixed and flexible.
Fixed protocols are protocols where the movement list and order is already pre-determined. They are out-of-the-box solutions that have been used and studied the most historically and have been proven to be well-rounded for their specific applications.
Flexible protocols are protocols where the movement list can be modified. This occurs by creating a 'New' protocol and selecting one of the template protocols to work from and modify. Movements can be added or removed and the order of the movements can be adjusted.
The movement list for the templates is the same, however the reports outputted are not. The reports associated with the protocol template are what to pay attention to when creating your own protocol.
